Mel Gibson tapes prove crackpots better off silent

The recent scandal concerning Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva, his new daughter’s mother, has led to many publicity for him. It’s all bad. Lawsuits and a domestic violence charge are both looking like they might happen. Rumors have been circulating about a domestic dispute that happened. It doesn’t help that there was a release of all these rumored “Mel Gibson tapes” This could seriously hurt his career.

The Mel Gibson tapes – a withering verbal assault

He should have found out how he can sell the “Mel Gibson tapes”. He would be making a fortune, especially if he trademarked the phrase. He might not be able to recover from this if they are real (see Radaronline.com). William Morris Endeavor already dropped him from their agency. Without an agent, he won’t get the SAG card he needs to act or direct. Gibson may no longer have a job.

Quickly gone is tolerance

There probably can’t be a “Lethal Weapons 5″ after the “Mel Gibson tapes” problem. People can say anything they want, even if it is misguided. The government can’t do anything about what people are saying. Other consequences may arise though.

Why we get from the crazy person?

Is the name John Rocker an old one? The Atlanta Braves kicked out the baseball player who made racist comments. Look at Rush Limbaugh. ESPN kicked him out after the Donovan McNabb debacle. Then there was NFL player Larry Johnson. Following the homophobic comments he said, he was released immediately. Of course he had stopped playing well at that point. Just because somebody is racist or prejudice doesn’t mean they can stay around working people.
